Punjab Kings (PBK) won a thrilling competition against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 22nd match of IPL 2025 held in Mulanpur. PBK scored 219/6 runs after winning the toss and taking his turn to bat first. Priyash Arya was the star of the show, which had a sensational innings of 103 off 42 balls and was awarded the Player of the Match for his efforts. Both Shashank Singh on 52 and Marco Jansen on 34 helped to accelerate the score on death after early rejecting Sam Billings. With 220 runs for Chase, CSK responded to its innings with a score of 201/5 after 20 overs. Devon Conway was retired at 69 and Shivam Dubey conceded 42 runs. Locky Ferguson took 2 wickets for PBK. PBK bowlers held their nerve in the final over to ban CSK and eventually win the game.
