Sohail Tanvir(RR)-2008

Sohail Tanvir won the purple cap in 2008 while representing Rajasthan Royals. He’s a Pakistan pacer and became the first-ever player to win the purple cap by hitting 22 wickets in 11 matches of the Indian T20 league. He performed against Chennai Super Kings and hit the score of 6/14.

RP Singh(RCB)-2009

RP Singh won the Purple cap in 2009 while representing Deccan chargers, the player became the winner by bagging 23 wickets in 16 matches.
