On April 18 in the 34th match of IPL 2025, the prestigious M of Bengaluru. Royal Challengers Bangalore saw Punjab Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Under the floodlights and in front of a crowd of a roar house, the evening clash began with Punjab Kings and collided to the first ball.
The competition quickly turned into a low scoring thriller, in which the bowlers dominated the proceedings. Royal Challengers was assigned to chase a minor target after a disciplined bowling attempt, which was banned by Punjab Kings to just 95/9 in its 20 overs. Despite some tremors in chasing, RCB held its nerve to end at 98/5, leading to a 5-vicity victory with 11 balls.
Tim David emerged as a night standout artist and was awarded the Player of the Match for his significant contribution with BAT. The match was performed by on-field umpires Ulhas Gandhe and Virendra Sharma, in which Michael Gough served as a TV umpire and Kannur Swaropanand as a reserve officer.
This result gave RCB a significant win in their IPL 2025 campaign, while PBK was left to re -organize after a disappointing batting performance.
